These Christmas cookie pops will be a hit with kids!
When you see this badge, you know it will be good! These are the recipes that have passed our test.
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
1/4 cup honey
1 (15.25- to 16.5-ounce) package yellow or chocolate cake mix
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs
Decorator sugars and candies
Wooden craft sticks
Heat oven to 375°F.
Combine all ingredients except decorator sugars and wooden sticks in bowl. Stir until well mixed.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in decorator sugars. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Immediately and carefully insert wooden sticks half-way into side of each cookie. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.
- For gift giving, once cookies are cooled, write a special message on wooden stick. Wrap holiday pops in colored plastic food wrap, cellophane or gift bags and tie with ribbons.
- Shape balls of dough into stars, trees, wreath, etc. Bake as directed.

So excited about this recipe! I did a "test" run before Christmas baking just to be sure. . . . Colored Jimmies and Nonpareils worked better for me then sanding sugar since I liked the entire pop to be covered.....Extra course sparkle sugar worked pretty well .. . . I added a tsp. of butter vanilla emulsion to the batter so it wouldn't have that "boxed cake" taste!! Thank you Land o lakes once again for a great recipe
