1 (15-ounce) loaf French bread, unsliced
1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt
12 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Italian Blend, cut in half
3 Roma tomatoes, sliced
16 large fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoons balsamic reduction
Heat nonstick griddle to 350°F.
Slice French bread on angle for 8 (8-inch-long) slices, each about 1/4 inch thick. Spread 1/2 tablespoon Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt onto 1 side of each bread slice.
Top 4 bread slices, buttered-side down, with 3 half-slices cheese, 1/4 tomatoes, 4 basil leaves, 1/2 teaspoon balsamic reduction, 3 half-slices cheese and 1 bread slice, buttered-side up.
Place sandwiches onto griddle. Cook 8-10 minutes, turning once, until golden brown. Serve hot.
Lay sliced tomatoes onto paper towel-lined plate before assembling sandwiches to remove some of the moisture.
