1 (15-ounce) loaf French bread, unsliced
1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt softened
12 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® 4 Cheese Italian Blend cut in half
3 Roma tomatoes, sliced
16 large fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoons balsamic reduction
Heat nonstick griddle to 350°F.
Slice French bread on angle to get 8 (8-inch long) slices about 1/4-inch thick. Spread 1/2 tablespoon butter onto 1 side of each bread slice.
Top 4 slices bread, buttered-side down, with 3 cheese halves, 1/4 tomatoes, 4 basil leaves, 1/2 teaspoon balsamic reduction, 3 cheese halves and 1 slice bread, buttered-side up.
Place sandwiches onto griddle. Cook 8-10 minutes, turning once, until golden brown. Serve hot.
Lay sliced tomatoes onto paper towel-lined plate before assembling sandwiches to remove some of the moisture.
