Ingredients

3/4 cup
evaporated milk
1 (8-ounce) package
chopped dates
2 tablespoons
sugar
1 teaspoon
vanilla
1/2 cup
firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1 cup
all-purpose flour
3/4 cup
quick-cooking oats
1/2 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon
baking soda
1/2 teaspoon
ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
  2. Combine evaporated milk, dates, sugar and vanilla in medium saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, 8-10 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat.
  3. Beat brown sugar and butter on medium speed in large bowl until creamy. Add flour, oats, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  4. Press half of crust mixture onto bottom of prepared pan with floured fingers. Spread date filling over crust. Top with remaining crust mixture.
  5. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden. Serve warm.
