Ingredients

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Light Butter with Canola Oil 

1 large Land O Lakes® Egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups uncooked quick-cooking oats

 

 *Substitute Land O Lakes® Butter.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Place 1/3 cup chocolate chips in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, stirring every 15 seconds, until melted. Set aside.

  3. STEP 3

    Combine sugar and Light Butter with Canola Oil in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add melted chocolate, egg and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in remaining chocolate chips and oats.

  4. STEP 4

    Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set. (Do not overbake.) Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to cooling rack.
