Ingredients

10 cups (about 5 pounds)
peeled russet potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
Water
2 teaspoons
salt
2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter
3/4 cup
sour cream
1/4 to 1/2 cup
milk
Salt
Pepper
Paprika, if desired

Directions

  1. Place potatoes in 4-quart saucepan. Cover with water; add salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium; cook potatoes 15-18 minutes or until fork tender. Drain.
  2. Place hot, cooked potatoes in bowl. Add all remaining ingredients. Mash with potato masher or beat with hand mixer until smooth.Salt and pepper to taste; sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Serve immediately.
