8 ears fresh corn, in husks
3/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
*Substitute 1/8 teaspoon each dried oregano leaves, dried marjoram leaves and dried basil leaves and 1/16 teaspoon rubbed dried sage.
Loosen husks on ears of corn enough to remove silk. Fill 8-quart saucepan with water. Dip corn in water; shake well. Rewrap husks around corn. Plunge corn into water; let stand 1 hour or until husks are soaked.
Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white. Combine all herb butter ingredients in small bowl until well mixed; set aside.
Place corn onto grill. Grill, turning often, 15-20 minutes or until corn is crisply tender. Immediately husk corn; serve with herb butter.

This was really great! We turned the corn every 5 minutes until it was singed on all sides and then I served it with the herb butter. There were only two of us so I used a little less than 1 stick and added 1/8 tsp of dried oregano, dried marjoram leaves, dried basil leaves, a pinch of dried rubbed sage and a pinch of lowery's garlic powder - Delicious, can't wait until we do it again. We bought the white sweet corn at our Local Farmer's Market and it was oh so fresh.
