Ingredients

1 (1/4-ounce) package active dry yeast

1 cup warm water

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Garlic & Herb Butter Spread

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 425ºF. Spray baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray; set aside.

  2. STEP 2

    Dissolve yeast in warm water in bowl; let rest 5 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients except Garlic & Herb Butter Spread; beat until well mixed. Cover with plastic food wrap; let rest 10 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    Press or roll dough, using floured hands, into 12x8-inch rectangle on prepared baking sheet. Spread Garlic & Herb Butter Spread over top of dough.

  4. STEP 4

    Cut 12 (1-inch wide) strips, using pizza cutter, along 8-inch side. Fold each breadstick in half, buttered-sides together; twist several times. Pinch ends; fold ends under.

  5. STEP 5

    Bake 15-20 minutes or until dough springs back when touched in center.

Tip #1

- Use your favorite pizza dough in place of making this dough.

Tip #2

- A 1/4-ounce package of yeast equals 2 1/4 teaspoons.
