Learn How it Works...
6 ounces uncooked dried spaghetti, broken into thirds
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter
2 cups small broccoli florets
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 1/2 cups fat free skim milk
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 pound slice (1/2-inch thick) deli fat free turkey breast, cubed
STEP 1
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain. Keep warm.
STEP 2
Melt butter in 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add broccoli and mushrooms. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 4-6 minutes or until vegetables are crisply tender. Remove vegetables from skillet.
STEP 3
Combine milk and flour in bowl; stir until smooth. Add to same skillet; cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil. Boil 1 minute. Reserve 1 cup cheese. Add remaining cheese; continue cooking, stirring constantly, 2-4 minutes or until cheese is melted.
STEP 4
Stir in hot cooked spaghetti, broccoli, mushrooms and turkey. Cook 2-3 minutes or until heated through. Gently stir remaining cheese into hot mixture. Continue cooking 1-2 minutes or until cheese just begins to melt.
