Ingredients

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

1 1/4 pound (1/2-inch thick) ham steak

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil

2 medium red cooking apples, cored, cut into thin rings

How to make

  1. STEP 1

Combine Dijon mustard and honey in bowl. Spread half of honey mustard mixture onto one side of ham steak.

  2. STEP 2

Melt butter in 12-inch skillet until sizzling. Add steak, mustard-side down. Cook 7-8 minutes or until lightly browned. Spread remaining honey mustard mixture over top of steak in pan. Turn steak; continue cooking 7-8 minutes until lightly browned. Remove steak to platter; cover loosely with aluminum foil to keep warm.

  3. STEP 3

Reduce heat to medium. Add apples to juices in pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, 6-8 minutes or until tender.
