Ingredients

5 slices (3/4-ounce)
Land O Lakes® Hot Pepper
1 (16-ounce) round
pre-baked Italian bread shell or focaccia
1 (14 to 15-ounce) can
chunky tomatoes with Italian seasonings or diced tomatoes with roasted garlic, drained
1 medium
green bell pepper, seeded, sliced into rings
1 cup
shredded cooked chicken

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425°F.
  2. Stack cheese slices. Cut into thin strips; separate.
  3. Place bread shell onto ungreased baking sheet. Top with tomatoes, green pepper, chicken and cheese.
  4. Bake 12-15 minutes or until heated through.

Recipe Tips

- Save drained tomato liquid and use in soups, sauces or stews.

- Use a purchased cooked rotisserie chicken.
