Ingredients

2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
1/4 cup
hickory-flavored cooking sauce and marinade or barbeque sauce
4
split chicken breasts, skinned
1/2 cup
green or red salsa
Sour cream, if desired

Directions

  1. Heat 1 side of gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white. Place coals to 1 side in charcoal grill. Make aluminum foil drip pan; place opposite hot coals.
  2. Stir together butter and cooking sauce in bowl. Brush butter mixture over chicken.
  3. Place chicken onto grill over drip pan. Grill, turning and basting occasionally with butter mixture, 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.
  4. Spoon salsa over chicken; dollop with sour cream, if desired.
