Halftime Jalapeño Roll-Ups

Roll up deli roast beef and lettuce with a jalapeño cheese spread for a quick make-ahead appetizer.

Jalapeño Spread

1 cup sour cream

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

8 ounce slice (about 2 cups) Land O Lakes® Hot Pepper Monterey Jack Cheese shredded

1/4 cup chopped ripe olives

1 tablespoon sliced green onion

1 (2-ounce) jar diced pimiento, drained


8 (8-inch) flour tortillas

8 lettuce leaves

8 thin slices deli roast beef

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine sour cream and cream cheese in small bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth. Stir in all remaining jalapeño spread ingredients by hand.

  2. STEP 2

    Spread 3 heaping tablespoons jalapeño spread on each tortilla. Layer with lettuce leaf and roast beef. Roll up tightly. Wrap in plastic food wrap. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

  3. STEP 3

    Unwrap; cut each roll-up in half.

Tip #1

Serve remaining spread with chips or vegetable dippers.

My family and friends love the Halftime Jalapeno roll-up. It is quick and easy and tastes great. Both kids and adults love this roll-up. Not spicy hot but has just a little kick that everyone loves. I have taken it to tailgate partiesand served it at gatherings. It has always been a hit with the crowd!
