Ingredients

Fudge

1/2 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter
1/4 cup
milk
1 cup
real semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 cups
powdered sugar
1 teaspoon
vanilla
1/2 cup
English toffee bits

Topping

2 tablespoons
English toffee bits

Directions

  1. Combine butter, milk and chocolate chips in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH or until butter and chocolate chips are melted (1 1/2 to 2 minutes). Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla; beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth (2 to 3 minutes).
  2. Stir in 1/2 cup toffee bits by hand. Spread in buttered 8-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons toffee bits over top; gently press into fudge.
  3. Cover; refrigerate until firm (1 to 1 1/2 hours). Cut into squares. Store refrigerated in airtight container.
  4. STOVE-TOP DIRECTIONS: Combine butter, milk and chocolate chips in 2-quart saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until butter and chocolate chips are melted (5 to 10 minutes). Place chocolate mixture in large mixer bowl. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Continue as directed above.

Recipe Tips

-Chocolate-coated and plain toffee bits are available in the baking section.

-For easy cutting, line pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over sides of pan; butter foil. To serve, lift foil and fudge out of pan; cut into squares. Place squares in paper candy cups.​

I must make this every Christmas !!! it is sweet,, it's FUDGE ! I cut it into small squares and place them into mini baking paper cups and store inside gift tins. This first thing my family asks when them come for Christmas is where's the FUDGE? Its so easy to make . It's a 5.

I like the creaminess of this fudge but it is very sweet. I know fudge is supposed to be sweet but WOW. I added nuts to the top to hopefully cut the sweetness a bit.
