1 pound lean ground turkey
2 teaspoons Italian salad dressing seasoning
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American
4 whole wheat hamburger buns
2 Roma tomatoes, sliced
Fresh basil leaves
*Substitute 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves.
Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
Combine ground turkey, Italian seasoning, garlic, oregano and pepper in bowl. Shape into 4 (1/4-inch thick) patties.
Place patties onto grill. Grill, turning once, 12-15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F and turkey is no longer pink. Top each burger with 2 slices cheese; continue grilling 1 minute or until cheese is melted. Toast buns, cut side down on grill while cheese is melting.
Place burgers onto buns; top with tomatoes and fresh basil.
