Ingredients

1 pound
lean ground turkey
2 tablespoons
chopped fresh basil leaves*
1 teaspoon
paprika
1 teaspoon
finely chopped fresh garlic
1/2 teaspoon
salt
1/4 teaspoon
pepper
4 (3/4-ounce) slices

whole wheat hamburger buns

Roma tomatoes, sliced
 
*Substitute 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves.

Directions

  1. Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  2. Combine ground turkey, basil, paprika, garlic, salt and pepper in bowl. Shape into 4 (1/4-inch thick) patties.
  3. Place patties onto grill. Grill, turning once, 12-15 minutes or until cooked through. Top each burger with 1 slice cheese; continue grilling 1 minute or until cheese is melted.
  4. Place burgers onto buns; top with tomatoes.
