This spicy meatloaf makes a hearty and very special, old-fashioned meal.

2 pounds meatloaf mixture
1 cup dry bread crumbs
3/4 cup chunky spaghetti or pasta sauce
1 small (1/2 cup) onion, finely chopped
1 small (1/2 cup) green bell pepper, finely chopped
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg slightly beaten
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® 4 Cheese Italian Blend
*Substitute 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes.
**Substitute 1/2 teaspoon each dried basil leaves, dried marjoram leaves and oregano leaves and 1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage.
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine all ingredients except cheese in bowl. Form mixture into 11x5-inch loaf. Place into ungreased 11x7-inch baking dish. Bake 50-55 minutes until cooked through and browned.
Place cheese slices over loaf. Continue baking 7-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
