These moist, tender biscuits are so easy to make—just spoon the batter onto a baking sheet and pop them in the oven.
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon lemon & pepper seasoning
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Margarine softened
4 ounces (1 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup milk
Heat oven to 375°F.
Combine flour, baking powder, basil, lemon & pepper seasoning and baking soda in bowl; mix well. Add margarine; mix in with fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in shredded cheese. Stir in milk just until moistened.
Drop batter by 1/4 cupfuls, 2 inches apart, onto large ungreased baking sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

OMG,would give 10 stars if possible. Found this website and recipe by accident. Read the recipe,decided it looked good and immediately made them. Am sitting here eating one as I type this review. I am not a fan of baking powder biscuits but am a big fan of lemon pepper. The only change I made was to use 2 tsp of lemon pepper. Am off to make another batch to give to a neighbour. This recipe is a keeper.
