Learn How it Works...
1 (3.4-ounce) package lemon-flavored instant pudding and pie filling mix
2 cups milk
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream, whipped
1/2 (8 cups) angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened berries, thawed, well-drained
STEP 1
Prepare pudding mix as directed on package using 2 cups milk. Gently stir in whipped cream.
STEP 2
Place 1/4 cup angel food cake cubes in bottom of 6 (1 1/4 cup) serving glasses. Top with 1/4 cup pudding mixture. Top with 2 tablespoons berries. Repeat layers. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight.
- If you prefer, substitute your favorite cut-up fresh fruit (bananas, peaches, kiwifruit, mandarin orange segments, etc.) for the berries.
- Have fun and serve this trifle in various stemmed glassware or plasticware—large wine goblets, short footed dessert dishes, martini glasses, etc.
