1 cup sugar
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup sliced almonds
STEP 1
Butter 13x9-inch pan; set aside.
STEP 2
Combine sugar and butter in heavy 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally with wooden spoon, 25-30 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 300°F or small amount of mixture dropped into ice water forms brittle strands.
STEP 3
Pour mixture into prepared pan; spread to cover bottom of pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over candy; let stand 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate evenly over candy; sprinkle with almonds. Cool completely; break into pieces.
