Ingredients

Cookie

1 1/2 cups
sugar
3/4 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2
large Land O Lakes® Eggs
1 tablespoon
milk
1 teaspoon
vanilla
2 cups
all-purpose flour
2/3 cup
malted milk powder
1/2 cup
unsweetened cocoa
3/4 teaspoon
baking soda
1/2 teaspoon
salt

Topping

2 cups
milk chocolate chips
1 cup
malted milk balls, crushed

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine sugar and butter in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add all remaining cookie ingredients; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  3. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack. Cool completely.
  4. Microwave milk chocolate chips in bowl 1 minute; stir. Continue microwaving 30 seconds until almost melted. Stir until smooth. Spread about 1 teaspoon melted chocolate over each cookie; immediately top with crushed malted milk balls, pressing slightly into chocolate.

Recipe Tips

To crush malted milk balls, place in large resealable plastic food bag. Seal bag; pound malted milk balls with rolling pin until coarsely crushed.

If cookies spread too much during baking, stir 1/4 cup additional flour into dough.
