Ingredients

2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter
12 (1-ounce) slices (3/4 pound)
Canadian bacon*
2 tablespoons
real maple or maple-flavored syrup
 
*Substitute sliced smoked ham.

Directions

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in 12-inch skillet until sizzling; add half of bacon slices. Cook over medium heat, turning once, until light golden brown (3-4 minutes). Drizzle 1 tablespoon maple syrup over bacon; continue cooking until heated through (30 seconds).
  2. Remove bacon from pan; place onto serving plate. Pour maple butter from pan over bacon. Cover with aluminum foil to keep warm.
  3. Repeat with remaining butter, bacon and syrup. Serve warm.

Recipe Tips

Canadian bacon is a lean smoked meat more similar to ham than bacon. It comes in chunks that can be sliced or cut as desired.
