Ingredients

6 ounces (1 1/2 cups)
uncooked dried elbow macaroni
1 cup
milk
16 (3/4-ounce) slices
Land O Lakes® Deli American, quartered
1/2 cup
coarsely crushed seasoned croutons

Directions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain.
  2. Combine cooked macaroni, milk and cheese in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5-6 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  3. Spoon macaroni into individual serving dishes; sprinkle with crushed croutons.

Recipe Tips

For variety, stir in 1 cup cooked peas, chopped broccoli or cubed deli ham.

I am a very picky when it comes to cheese, so when I tried Land O'Lakes cheese I fell in love! I found this recipe and I had to try it! It's the best recipe I've ever made. I like how it isn't a wild mac&cheese recipe. It is simple, yet unique and is very impressive. My guests thought I hire a cook when I made this! I recomend this recipe to every age. Young people (children) think of this recipe has something fun and 'cool' and older people (18+) think as this as something that is good and homely and makes them think about their childhood.
