1 (13.8-ounce) package refrigerated pizza crust dough
8 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American, cut into quarters
2 cups prepared chicken or turkey taco filling
1/2 cup seeded chopped tomato
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg, slightly beaten
Sour cream, if desired
Heat oven to 450°F.
Press dough into 15x10-inch rectangle. Cut into 8 (3 3/4x2 1/2-inch) rectangles.
Place 2 quarters cheese onto half of each piece of dough 1/2-inch from edge. Top with 1/4 cup taco mixture, 1 tablespoon chopped tomato and 2 quarters cheese. Brush edges of dough with egg. Fold dough over filling, aligning edges. Press edges with fork to seal.
Place onto greased baking sheet. Brush tops with egg. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with sour cream, if desired.
- Prepare as directed above; cool. Wrap each in plastic food wrap; place into large resealable freezer bag. Freeze up to 2 months. To reheat, place 1 frozen hand pie onto microwave-safe plate; microwave 45-60 seconds until heated through.
