Cheese Sauce

10 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Italian Blend

1/2 cup milk

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper


1 (8-ounce) package pita chips


1/2 cup cooked crumbled hot Italian sausage

1/4 cup sliced banana peppers

1/4 cup sliced green onions

1/4 cup sliced Kalamata olives

1 small (1/2 cup) tomato, seeded, chopped

1 tablespoon capers, rinsed

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine cheese, milk and crushed red pepper in saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth.

  2. STEP 2

    Arrange pita chips in single layer onto serving platter. Top with cheese sauce and toppings. Serve immediately.
