1 (12-ounce) package white baking chips
1/2 teaspoon rum extract
1/3 cup chopped red candied cherries
1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons golden raisins
STEP 1
Line baking sheet with foil; set aside.
STEP 2
Melt baking chips in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes or until smooth. Stir in rum extract.
STEP 3
Immediately pour mixture onto prepared baking sheet, spreading evenly to about 1/4-inch thickness. Immediately top with cherries, walnuts and raisins; press down lightly.
STEP 4
Cover; refrigerate 1 hour. Break into pieces.

When I melted the baking chips, they weren't creamy to where I could spread it out. Did everything by the book - low heat, stirring constantly until melted. The whole thing was a flop. I couldn't press the cherries, walnuts & raisins into the mixture as it was too hard. Disappointed - was looking forward to something different and colorful for the holidays.
