1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg
2 cups uncooked quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
*Substitute raisins, cut-up gumdrops, chopped nuts, chocolate, butterscotch or white chocolate chips.
STEP 1
Heat oven to 375°F.
STEP 2
Combine brown sugar, butter and egg in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add all remaining cookie ingredients; beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in chocolate pieces.
STEP 3
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
STEP 4
Bake 10-14 minutes or until light golden brown on edges. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack. Cool completely.
