Peanut Butter Chocolate Layer Bars

Quick-to-make and quick-to-disappear because this bar is made with the favorite ingredients of chocolate and peanuts.

2 cups (about 20) crushed peanut butter sandwich cookies

3 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, melted

1 1/4 cups lightly salted dry-roasted peanuts, chopped

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup flaked coconut

1 (14-ounce) can (1 1/4 cups) sweetened condensed milk

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine crushed cookies and butter in small bowl. Press mixture onto bottom of greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Layer peanuts, morsels and coconut over crumb mixture. Drizzle with sweetened condensed milk.

  3. STEP 3

    Bake for 20-25 minutes or until coconut is golden brown. Cool completely.

We love this recipe! I use my vitamix to chop up the peanuts pretty fine then mix them with the cup of coconut and spread that over the cookie crust and spinkle wilh Choc, Chips. Top with Sweet.Cond.Milk Bake and you're done! It is a very forgiving recipe. If you do overbake 5 or 10 minutes after cutting and sitting in a container they come out moist and yummy. Super easy and won't last long!
