2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon prepared minced garlic
1 (12- to 16-ounce) prepared Italian bread shell or focaccia, sliced in half horizontally
4 ounces (about 24 slices) deli hard salami
2 large red onion slices, separated into rings
4 (1/4-inch) green bell pepper rings
6 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American
4 (1/4-inch) tomato slices
STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F.
STEP 2
Stir together butter, Italian seasoning and garlic in bowl. Spread mixture onto 1 cut-side of bread shell. Layer with salami, onion, green pepper, cheese and tomato. Top with remaining half of bread shell.
STEP 3
Wrap sandwich in aluminum foil. Place onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 30-40 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
STEP 4
Cut into 4 wedges. Serve warm.
To make ahead, assemble sandwiches as directed above up to 4 hours ahead. Place sandwiches onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake, in 350°F oven, 15-20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
