Ingredients

1 (3.5-ounce) bag microwave popcorn, popped

1 cup pecan halves

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 250°F. Place popped popcorn and nuts in large roasting pan.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine brown sugar and butter in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 4-5 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil. Boil 1 minute.

  3. STEP 3

    Pour butter mixture over popcorn; stir to coat.

  4. STEP 4

    Bake, stirring every 10 minutes 30-35 minutes. Immediately spread popcorn on waxed paper to cool.

One (3.5-ounce) bag microwave popcorn equals about 12 cups popped popcorn.

I had to use 3 bags of Microwave popcorn to equal the amount called for in this recipe. I had to make another batch as my family ate it up and asked for more!
