Peanut cookies that use your favorite peanut brittle flavors in these crisp cookie sticks.
3/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup salted peanuts, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup milk chocolate toffee bits
*Substitute plain toffee bits.
Heat oven to 375ºF.
Combine sugar, butter and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add flour and salt. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in peanuts.
Press dough onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Sprinkle evenly with toffee bits. Bake 15-25 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into 2x1-inch sticks.

Yes, I would have to agree with the first rating comment; recipe was not good at all.
Too crumbly, dry, too crunchy. The cookie bar were not very thick at all; too flat. I have to be fair though, I have not tried the modified recipe. I might give it another try.
It tasted OK but handles very badly, falls apart, there's crumbs everywhere. I guess you could put it in a bowl I didand eat it with a spoon. Some made it as 'sticks' but that was a lot of work for only a couple
passable 'cookies' - there's so many good ones out there, this recipe is going in the trash.
