1 tablespoon Land O Lakes® Fresh Buttery Taste® Spread
1 large onion, cut into thin wedges
1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas
1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh tarragon leaves
1 (6-ounce) package frozen pea pods
*Substitute 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves.
Melt Fresh Buttery Taste in 2-quart saucepan until sizzling; add onion. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 2-3 minutes or until onion is softened.
Add all remaining ingredients except pea pods salt and pepper. Continue cooking 5-6 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover; cook 3 minutes or until peas are almost tender.
Add pea pods. Increase heat to medium. Continue cooking 1-2 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
