Ingredients

8 (3/4-ounce) slices
Land O Lakes® 4 Cheese Italian Blend
4 (8-inch)
flour tortillas
32 slices (approximately 2 ounces)
pepperoni
2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
 
Marinara sauce, if desired

Directions

  1. Place 1 cheese slice on half of each tortilla; top each with 8 pepperoni slices and another slice cheese. Fold tortilla in half.
  2. Brush both sides of each folded tortilla with butter.
  3. Heat 12-inch skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place 2 quesadillas into skillet; cook, turning once, 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining quesadillas.

Recipe Tips

For flavor variety, use cooked and crumbled Italian sausage instead of pepperoni or add chopped red or green bell peppers.

I can only find this cheese in Wal-Mart but, it is by far the best tasting cheese I have found. I find myself just nibbling on the slices before I make anything. I have used it in many recipes and the flavor enhances everything. I wish I could find it in more stores that sell Land O' Lakes cheese. I highly rate this cheese and just call it Italian American cheese to see the expression on people's faces who have not discovered it yet.....Thanks for the great change......
