1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
9 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Hot Pepper, chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup beer, at room temperature
1/3 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs, slightly beaten
STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x5-inch loaf pan; set aside.
STEP 2
Combine flour, whole wheat flour, 1 cup cheese, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl. Stir in beer, butter and eggs just until moistened.
STEP 3
Spoon batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
STEP 4
Bake 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Let stand on cooling rack 10 minutes. Serve warm.
