Ingredients

1 (13.8-ounce) package refrigerated pizza crust dough

6 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Italian Blend

1/4 cup pizza sauce

2 ounces (about 1/3 cup) sliced pepperoni

2 tablespoons chopped green chiles

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1/4 cup sliced banana peppers

1 large Land O Lakes® Egg, slightly beaten

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. STEP 2

    Press out dough on prepared baking sheet to 14x10-inch rectangle. Make 3-inch cuts, 1 1/2 inches apart, into long sides of dough with scissors or sharp knife.

  3. STEP 3

    Place 3 slices cheese down center of dough. Spread pizza sauce over cheese. Top with pepperoni, chiles, olives, peppers and remaining cheese.

  4. STEP 4

    Make braid by alternately folding strips toward center. Brush braid with beaten egg.

  5. STEP 5

    Bake 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 3-5 minutes. Cut as desired.
