Ingredients

4 medium (2 cups)
carrots, cut into 2x1/4-inch strips
2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter
1 (10-ounce) package
frozen asparagus cuts, thawed, drained
1 tablespoon
sesame seed, toasted
1/2 teaspoon
salt

Directions

  1. Bring 3/4 cup water to a boil in 2-quart saucepan; add carrots. Cover; cook over medium heat until carrots are crisply tender (4 to 5 minutes). Drain; set aside.
  2. Melt butter in same saucepan until sizzling. Stir in carrots and all remaining ingredients. Cover; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until asparagus is crisply tender (2 to 3 minutes).

Made this as an Easter side dish, and it went over very well. Only change I made was to salt the water that the carrots were boiled in. Fresh and easy!
