Summer Ham & Fruit Salad

Ingredients

Salad

5 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Swiss Cheese

1 1/2 cups cubed cooked ham

2 medium nectarines or peaches, sliced

1 (5-ounce) bag (6 cups) mixed salad greens

1 pint (2 cups) strawberries, hulled, sliced

Dressing

1/4 cup orange juice

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon white wine vinegar

1/2 teaspoon poppy seed

1/4 teaspoon salt

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Cut cheese slices into thin strips. Combine cheese strips and all remaining salad ingredients in serving bowl; toss well.

  2. STEP 2

    Whisk together all dressing ingredients in small bowl. Pour dressing over salad; toss to coat.

  3. STEP 3

    To serve, spoon salad mixture onto individual salad plates.

Tip #1

Substitute a berry mix (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries) for the strawberries.

Tip #2

Use chicken or turkey in place of the ham.
