Sauce
1 cup light sour cream
1 medium cucumber, peeled, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed
1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon freshly grated lime zest
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Salmon
4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
4 teaspoons Land O Lakes® Margarine
*Substitute 2 teaspoons dried dill weed.
STEP 1
Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
STEP 2
Combine all sauce ingredients in bowl; set aside.
STEP 3
Place salmon onto grill. Cover; grill 6 minutes. Turn salmon over. Place 1 teaspoon margarine onto each salmon steak; spread gently over surface of salmon. Continue grilling 6-8 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork. Serve with sauce.
Broiling Directions: Prepare sauce as directed above. Heat broiler. Place salmon steaks on broiler rack 2 to 5 inches from heat. Broil 6 minutes; turn. Place 1 teaspoon margarine onto each salmon steak; spread gently over surface of salmon. Continue broiling 6-10 minutes or until fish flakes with fork. Serve with sauce.
