1 (12-ounce) jar (1 1/2 cups) prepared salsa verde
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/3 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
1 teaspoon juniper berries, crushed
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
STEP 1
Combine all ingredients in bowl; mix well.
STEP 2
Use to marinate 2 pounds meat (chicken, pork or beef); reserve marinade. Cook meat as desired.
STEP 3
Pour reserved marinade into 1-quart saucepan; cook over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Serve with cooked meat.
