1 (1/4-ounce) package active dry yeast
1 cup warm water (105-115ºF)
2 1/4 to 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt, melted, slightly cooled
2 teaspoons coarse grain salt
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic
1 tablespoon sesame seed
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (15-ounce) can pizza sauce
1 (7-ounce) package pepperoni slices
1 medium green bell pepper
16 ounces (4 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
Dissolve yeast in warm water in bowl; let stand 5 minutes.
Add 1 1/2 cups flour, 3 tablespoons Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt, salt and garlic; beat at medium speed until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour until dough is easy to handle.
Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface; knead 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place into greased bowl; turn greased-side up. Cover; let rise in warm place 1 hour or until double in size. (Dough is ready if indentation remains when touched.)
Cut pepperoni and green pepper into shapes using small heart-shaped cookie cutter.
Punch down dough; divide in half. Let stand 10 minutes.
Heat oven to 425°F.
Place 1 portion dough onto greased baking sheet; press, with lightly floured hands, into 12-inch heart-shape. Repeat with remaining dough. Brush crusts with remaining butter. Sprinkle with sesame seed and pepper.
Bake on lowest rack of oven 10 minutes. Spread with pizza sauce; sprinkle with cheese. Top with pepperoni and green pepper cut-outs. Continue baking 10-15 minutes or until crust is lightly browned on edges.
