5 large baking potatoes, peeled, sliced
2 large Vidalia onions, sliced
1 tablespoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, cut into small pieces
*Substitute any variety of sweet onions such as Walla Walla, Oso, or Rio Sweet
STEP 1
Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
STEP 2
Place potatoes and onions in mound onto 36x18-inch piece heavy-duty aluminum foil. Sprinkle with salt and red pepper; dot with butter. Bring edges of foil up to center, tightly sealing top and sides of each packet.
STEP 3
Place foil packet onto grill. Cover; grill, turning once, 50-60 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Oven Directions: Heat oven to 375°F. Prepare potatoes and onions in packet as directed above. Place packet onto ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pan or baking sheet. Bake 60-70 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
