Ingredients

5 large
baking potatoes, peeled, sliced
2 large
Vidalia onions*, sliced
1 tablespoon
seasoned salt
1 teaspoon
ground red pepper
1/2 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter, cut into small pieces
 
*Substitute any variety of sweet onions such as Walla Walla, Oso, or Rio Sweet

Directions

  1. Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  2. Place potatoes and onions in mound onto 36x18-inch piece heavy-duty aluminum foil. Sprinkle with salt and red pepper; dot with butter. Bring edges of foil up to center, tightly sealing top and sides of each packet.
  3. Place foil packet onto grill. Cover; grill, turning once, 50-60 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Recipe Tips

Oven Directions: Heat oven to 375°F. Prepare potatoes and onions in packet as directed above. Place packet onto ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pan or baking sheet. Bake 60-70 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
