Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) package
cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon
chopped fresh chives
8 (3/4-ounce) slices
Land O Lakes® Deli American
6 slices
round deli bologna

Directions

  1. Combine cream cheese and chives in bowl. Spread about 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture over 1 slice cheese. Top with 1 slice bologna. Spread with about 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture. Top with another cheese slice. Repeat layering using a total of 3 slices bologna and 4 slices cheese, ending with cheese. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  2. Wrap each stack tightly in plastic food wrap. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  3. Using a sharp knife, trim edges of bologna even with cheese. Cut each stack into 16 squares.

This recipe is messy, fattening and not very tasty. I wouldn't make it again. Make fried bologna sandwiches instead.

Love this recipe. Use German Bologna. It is cheap and well worth the effort to find it. Enjoy!
