Ingredients

Spread

1/4 cup
mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon
freshly grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon
lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon
salt
1/8 teaspoon
coarsely ground pepper
4 drops
hot pepper sauce

Sandwich

plain bagels, split, toasted
4 ounces
sliced deli turkey breast
4 (1-ounce) slices
Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup
red bell pepper strips
1 tablespoon
sliced green onion

Directions

  1. Stir together all spread ingredients in bowl.
  2. Spread cut sides of bagels with mayonnaise mixture.
  3. To assemble sandwiches, layer each bottom half of bagel with 1/4 turkey, 1 slice cheese, 1/4 red bell pepper, 1/4 green onion and top half of bagel.
