Ingredients

Spread

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon freshly grated lemon peel

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper

4 drops hot pepper sauce

Sandwich

4 plain bagels, split, toasted

4 ounces sliced deli turkey breast

4 (1-ounce) slices Cheddar cheese

1/4 cup red bell pepper strips

1 tablespoon sliced green onion

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Stir together all spread ingredients in bowl.

  2. STEP 2

    Spread cut sides of bagels with mayonnaise mixture.

  3. STEP 3

    To assemble sandwiches, layer each bottom half of bagel with 1/4 turkey, 1 slice cheese, 1/4 red bell pepper, 1/4 green onion and top half of bagel.
