Ingredients

Filling

4 medium (4 cups)
pears, cored, peeled, sliced 1/2-inch
1 tablespoon
lemon juice
1 teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon
ground nutmeg

Topping

1/2 cup
all-purpose flour
1/2 cup
uncooked quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup
finely chopped brown sugar
1/3 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream, if desired

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Place pears into ungreased 8-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter in bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over pears.
  4. Bake 40-50 minutes or until pears are fork tender and top is golden brown.
  5. Spoon mixture into serving dishes. Top with whipping cream, if desired.
