1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1 tablespoon coconut sugar or brown sugar
1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Butter, divided
2 medium (2 cups) peeled, cored, sliced apples
2 tablespoons coconut sugar or brown sugar
1 teaspoon fresh chopped ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
Heat oven or toaster oven to 350°F.
Toast almonds and oats in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 7-10 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from skillet; set aside to cool.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in same skillet over medium heat. Add all remaining apple ingredients. Continue cooking 8-10 minutes or until apples are slightly softened. Divide apple mixture among 2 (8-ounce) ungreased ramekins. Set aside.
Combine toasted almonds and oats with 1 tablespoon sugar and remaining 2 tablespoons butter in medium bowl; mix using fork. Sprinkle over apples. Bake 8-10 minutes or until topping is dark golden brown.
Serve with scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
