Banana Bread Pudding with Chocolate Sauce


Bread Pudding

1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter

4 cups cubed 1-inch French bread

3 large Land O Lakes® Eggs

2 cups milk

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 teaspoons vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 medium (1 cup) bananas, sliced 1/4-inch


Chocolate ice cream topping

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Melt butter in 2-quart casserole in oven. Stir in bread cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    Whisk eggs in bowl. Stir in all remaining pudding ingredients except bananas. Stir in bananas.

  4. STEP 4

    Pour egg mixture over bread cubes; stir to coat. Bake 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

  5. STEP 5

    Spoon chocolate topping over each serving of warm pudding. Store refrigerated.
