Brussels Sprouts & Bacon Grilled Cheese


3 cups pre-shredded Brussels sprouts

1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered

8 slices bacon, chopped

8 slices English muffin bread

3 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil

8 (3/4-ounce) slices white Land O Lakes® Deli American

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine Brussels sprouts, tomatoes and bacon in 12-inch nonstick skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until bacon is crisp and veggies are tender.

  2. STEP 2

    Remove mixture from pan; set aside. Wipe out pan with paper towel.

  3. STEP 3

    Spread 1 side of each bread slice with approximately 1 teaspoon Butter with Canola Oil.

  4. STEP 4

    Place 1 slice cheese, 1/2 cup filling and 1 slice cheese onto unbuttered side of 4 slices bread. Top each with 1 slice bread, buttered-side up.

  5. STEP 5

    Place sandwiches into skillet; cook over medium-high heat, turning once, 5-7 minutes or until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
