Lightly grease 12-cup muffin pan; set aside.
STEP 2
Cut butter into 12 squares; set aside.
STEP 3
Bring water to boil in 4-quart saucepan; stir in oats. Cook, stirring occasionally, 30-35 minutes or until oats are softened and water is almost absorbed.
STEP 4
Divide oatmeal evenly among prepared muffin pan cups. Sprinkle each with brown sugar and cinnamon, if desired. Top each with 1 butter square; sprinkle with cranberries and pecans, pressing lightly into oatmeal.
STEP 5
Freeze at least 3 hours or until oatmeal is frozen. Remove from freezer; thaw slightly. Remove oatmeal from pan. Place individual servings into freezer storage bag; freeze until serving time.
STEP 6
Remove desired number of servings; place into individual bowls. Microwave each serving 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
