1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

3/4 cup sugar

1 large Land O Lakes® Egg (yolk only)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt


Sanding sugar

60 mini chocolate candy pieces, unwrapped

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 375°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add flour, cinnamon and salt; beat at low speed until well mixed.

  3. STEP 3

    Fit cookie press with 5-petal template; fill with dough. Press dough, 1 inch apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with sanding sugar. Bake 6-8 minutes or until edges are very lightly browned.

  4. STEP 4

    Immediately place 1 candy piece in center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely.
