Drink Mix

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1/2 cup coffee-flavored liqueur

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream

1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream, whipped

Chocolate-covered espresso beans or chocolate shavings, if desired

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine all drink mix ingredients in blender container. Cover; blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into 1-pint (2 cups) clean glass jar; seal with tight-fitting lid. Include the following directions with drink mix.

  2. STEP 2

    Place 1 to 2 tablespoons drink mix into coffee cup. Add 8 ounces prepared hot coffee; stir. Garnish with dollop of whipped cream and espresso bean, if desired. Store drink mix refrigerated or frozen up to 4 weeks.

Tip #1

Kahlúa is a coffee-flavored liqueur made in Mexico. Tia Maria is also a coffee-flavored liqueur. Like most liqueurs, they are slightly thicker than water. If neither of these is available, substitute coffee-flavored syrup found in gourmet or specialty food stores, or in a large supermarket. The drink mix will be sweeter if made with the flavored syrup.
