Caribbean Ham & Pineapple Sandwich


1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped fresh pineapple  

1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh cilantro

1 1/2 teaspoons Jamaican jerk seasoning

4 teaspoons Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

4 hoagie buns, sliced in half

4 romaine lettuce leaves

1/2 pound thinly sliced deli ham

4 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American, cut in half diagonally

8 thin green bell pepper rings

 *Substitute 1 (15-ounce) can pineapple rings, drained, coarsely chopped.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine pineapple, cilantro and jerk seasoning in bowl; set aside.

  2. STEP 2

    Butter bottom half of each bun. Layer each bottom bun half with 1 lettuce leaf, 1/4 ham, 2 cheese halves, 2 bell pepper rings, 1/4 pineapple mixture and top bun half. Serve immediately.
