Crunchy Granola

4 cups uncooked old-fashioned oats

1 cup sliced almonds

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/4 cup whole roasted flax seed

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/3 cup Land O Lakes® Butter

1/3 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups sweetened dried cranberries

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 300ºF. Line 15x10x1-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine oats, almonds, brown sugar, flax seed and cinnamon in bowl; mix well. Set aside.

  3. STEP 3

    Combine butter, honey and vanilla in saucepan; cook over low heat until butter is melted. Pour butter mixture over oat mixture; stir until oats are well coated.

  4. STEP 4

    Spread granola into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until light golden brown. Place pan onto cooling rack; cool completely.

  5. STEP 5

    Add cranberries; mix well.

  6. STEP 6

    Store in airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week or freeze up to 3 months.
